One last story before the beginning of the end :) I don't many people are going to be around to read it so I am going to crosspost it next week.

Title: Ba Humbug

Author: [livejournal.com profile] mithborien

Fandom: Harry Potter

Word Count: 5044 words

Rating: PG-13

Summary: Voldemort was getting closer. Physically, figuratively and mentally.

Disclaimer: Harry Potter belongs to J.K. Rowling and assorted publishers. No profit is being made or intended to be.

Author's Notes: Written for the [livejournal.com profile] awdt prompt "This isn't how I thought it would end" Although, that’s kinda a lie. I started to write this for the prompt “Ba Humbug” but that was over a year ago and I’m not sure whether my original ideas came through but nevertheless, it is finished now.

Title: Open to interpretation

Author: [livejournal.com profile] mithborien

Word count: 7224 words

Rating: PG-13

Summary: The world as he’d known it had come to an end.

Author’s notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] jamie2109 and [livejournal.com profile] nocturnali's ADWT 2nd year birthday and since I did it last year I couldn’t help but write a fic that includes all 52 of last years' prompts (unless I accidentally edited one out) that can be found HERE. This is un-beta’d since I scraped in just after the deadline so feel free to point out any errors or anything that doesn’t make sense.

Summary comes from Shadow Moon by George Lucas and Chris Claremont.

Author's Notes: Written for the AWDT prompt "Would you like the red or the white, Sir?". Also, I have no idea when this is set...

Summary: This is the only thing he can do though.

No money is being made and no copyright or trademark infringement is intended.

Author's Notes: Written for the AWDT prompt "He's very quiet and he enjoys puzzles". Completely un-beta'd. First thing I've managed to write in a while so I hope I haven't completely screwed this up.

Title: New Year’s Day

Author: [livejournal.com profile] mithborien

Rating: PG-13

Word Count: 2967

Summary: It wasn’t running away.

Disclaimer: This story is based on characters, settings and situations created and owned by JK Rowling, various publishers including but not limited to Bloomsbury Books, Scholastic Books and Raincoast Books, and Warner Bros., Inc. No money is being made and no copyright or trademark infringement is intended.

Author's Notes: Let it be stated that I am not H/D shipper. I don’t know where the idea for this came from. In my mind, this was not meant to be seen as shippy but god knows it probably will be so let’s just say I hope you all enjoy it no matter which way you want to take it and write your own addendums in your minds.

Written for [livejournal.com profile] jamie2109 and [livejournal.com profile] nocturnali’s AWDT prompt of “I saw the way he/she looked at you” of which I promptly (pun maybe was intended) mangled to fit this story that had already been half written.

This fic also comes with a soundtrack because I pretty much listened to only these two songs while writing it.
New year’s day – U2
Fall to pieces – Velvet Revolver
And don't say a word about how those two songs are shippy either...

ETA: This fic now also comes with complimentary *cough* art by myself. Scroll to the end to see it.

Title: Dare you to move

Author: [livejournal.com profile] mithborien

Rating: G

Word Count: 4316

Summary: “We’ll be heading off now?”

Warnings: Is not actually a crack!fic.

Author’s Note: This was written for [livejournal.com profile] jamie2109 and [livejournal.com profile] nocturnali AWDT prompt which celebrated it’s first birthday last week. Congratulations! And while this week’s prompt was to pick any prompt from the list of the past year, I had to go and pick every single prompt. All, what I assume is, 52 of them. As a result, the title, summary, subheadings and whatnot may not relate exactly. I think, however, considering the number of prompts I did a fairly good job :) The list of prompts is here so y’all can go and check if I missed any :P

I only cheated on one prompt however and that was to turn to page 347 in a thick book other than HP and use the first whole sentence. That sentence I used for the summary and had to flick through a couple of books before settling on Terry Pratchett’s ‘The Truth’.

Also, the Dumbledore prompt about the macaroons was from [livejournal.com profile] beren_writes‘s fic Gold Tinted Spectacles.

This is also un-beta’d. Feel free to point out any grammatical errors but not any gaping plot holes because like I said, a year’s worth of prompts dammit.

Title: Are we having fun yet?

Author: [livejournal.com profile] mithborien

Word Count: 4923

Rating: PG-13 for language

Characters: James and Sirius

Note: This is probably woefully unbalanced and disjointed but well, that kinda describes these boys so it kinda makes sense. Though any concrit is appreciated. Written for [livejournal.com profile] jamie2109 AWDT prompt.

Title: It was a dark and stormy night

Author: [livejournal.com profile] mithborien

Word count: 396

Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] jamie2109's AWDT prompt since apparently I am not only determined to avoid doing my TAFE work at home but also at TAFE itself.

Also, this little drabble was in part inspired by a piece of fan art that I had seen of the trio where while they were waiting out the night somewhere two of them would sleep while the other kept watch and it was beautiful. Except now, of course, I can't seem to find it so if anyone knows the piece of art in question a link would be greatly appreciated :D

Title: Marauder’s Never Tell

Author: [livejournal.com profile] mithborien

Title: Reasoning

First Marauder fic! And it's slightly Remus and Sirius. It hints :)

Title: From Family to Friends

Author: [livejournal.com profile] mithborien

Rating: PG

Summary: Remus has never met Sirius’s mother before, now he knows why.

Word count: 1694

Disclaimer: This story is based on characters, settings and situations created and owned by JK Rowling, various publishers including but not limited to Bloomsbury Books, Scholastic Books and Raincoast Books, and Warner Bros., Inc. No money is being made and no copyright or trademark infringement is intended.

Notes: So yeah, I did the italicised thing again. And I tried present tense so let me know if I screwed that up because I posted without sending this to a beta (naughty, I know, so if anyone is up for beta-ing me then let me know :) In my thoughts this is supposed to be set in their sixth year but before the prank and before Sirius gets disowned. And it’s a one shot… for the moment cause it doesn't really seem finished but I don't know what else to do with it. And I read a lot of fic so if this resembles anyone else's work in any way then it was purely accidental and unintentional. I would never plagiarise on purpose. [/unwanted notes]

I have seven, no bloody hell, eight HP fics in process, of which only one is progressing with any satisfaction. This made me downheartened and as a result I posted this fic instead. It's old and has never been seen on LJ before but I just had to post something before all this fics drive me mad... MAD I TELL YOU! Aww, crap, too late!
