General Vidding Likes
I like all sorts of vids whether they be ensemble or character driven vids, vids with dialogue audio, vids with heavy effects, vids that are serious, vids that a funny, etc. So really, go with whatever angle or direction you want. However, if you are looking for inspiration, I do have a couple of prompts below.

Music
I also like all genres of music so feel free to choose any song but I do appreciate unlikely song choices for vids. And to be honest, a not so insignificant number of my favourite songs are songs that I love because they were used in vids that I love. So I am very easily won over in terms of music.

I haven't done a end of year vid review since 2015, mostly because I felt I hadn't made enough vids during the year to warrant one. And I was tossing up whether to do one this year as well, but then I realised I could do an end of the decade vid review instead and then I wouldn't have to do another one until 2030!

And you know, I do generally hope I still making vids in another 10 years.

(I also had a brief moment of worry that maybe I should be waiting until the end of 2020 to do a decade in review but I googled it (like a nerd) and the general consensus is the new decade starts now.)

Hello Equinoxxer!

Firstly, thank you for making me a vid!

General things I like in vids:

- Editing to the music flow
- Unusual music choices

In regards to my requests, I don't have a strong preference for specific prompts so really make whatever vid you want. But if you want to know my extremely brief thoughts on each source, see below.

American Gods

Confession: I haven't actually watched the show yet but I totally intend to before vid reveals. I have read the book and what I have seen of the show looks amazing. I am just waiting for the appropriate time to binge watch the entire thing.

Coraline

Loved the book and loved the visuals of the movie. A vid about Coraline herself would be great.

Hogfather

I loooove the Discworld books. I don't think the film adaptions quite capture the feelings of the books but I think they do a really good job. I nominated Hogfather because Susan is a favourite character of mine from the books and I loved seeing her on film.

Legend of the Seeker

This is the only source where I haven't read the books but I super enjoyed the show. I loved the characters, the costumes, the slow-mo fighting. Totally my aesthetic. An ensemble vid or a vid focusing on the women would be great.

The Hunger Games

Loved the books, loved the movies. I was Team Katniss more than Team Peeta or Gale though.

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency

A remember reading the books years and years ago and feeling very confused. But I thought the show was really fun. An ensemble vid or a vid about Dirk and Todd would be great.
