Festivids is live! And I received three (!!!) lovely vids. It was both a pleasure and a curse to see the gifted vids keep popping up in AO3 while I frantically tried to finish my own vid.

wheels revolving, a vid for The Fountain (a lovely film starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz), which features really nice editing of the different parallel scenes in the movie.

Summertime Killer, a vid for Lady Gaga's music videos. Regardless of how much I like the songs, I've always really enjoyed her music videos and the vidder has managed to capture some of my favourite scenes.

Trespasses (better get your gun), a vid for Gunpowder Milkshake, which not only has a lovely, moody feel to it but also a great blend of the action scenes.

I haven't watched any of the other vids yet and honestly by the time that I do, the vidders will probably all be revealed, so I'll save any further recs until then.

So... Supernatural has finally ended.

But enough rambling! I may have lost interest in the show but I still love watching fanvids from the early seasons of Supernatural. I remember those years being a delightful time for vidding, so thank you to all the vidders who not only made the vids I enjoyed watching but also who inspired me to keep vidding myself.
