01). Total volume of music files on my computer: 5.09 GB

02). The last CD I bought was: U2 - How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb *loves*

03a). The last song I listened to before writing this was: Er, I don't remember... Kids by Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue? Shut up, I was in the shower and couldn't exactly change it.

03b). Song playing right now: Nothing, I can only hear ads playing on the TV.

04). Five songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me: 5? God knows. Er, how about "Holy Grail" by Hunters and Collectors and anything by U2, Switchfoot, The Killers and I recently became aware of Enigma.

[livejournal.com profile] gryffindor_phan raises a good point: when was the last time you actually bought a CD? I got Elliott Smith's "From a Basement on a Hill" as a Christmas present from my folks. That's the newest pre-packaged CD I have. Most of my music doesn't come from iTunes, it comes from the library. The Denver Public Library (http://www.denver.lib.co.us/) has a great selection of music. I go on-line, choose what I want and have it shipped to my branch. Then I rip it and return it. Free music; perfectly legal. Personal use, dude!

Anybody else raid the library for tunes?

I buy a CD when an artist or band I like brings out a new CD ie. U2. I don't think any libraries near me have music selections but for any individual or old songs I get them off WinMX, a file sharing thingy.

Dudette, I'm too lazy to do this. Must I really?

It takes less than five minutes ya lump.

And yes, you must do this or the fiery demons from meme hell will come and flay the skin from your back until you scream for mercy and crawl pitifully back to your computer and fill this meme out.

As I said before. Ha.
