There is a turkey defrosting in the kitchen.

I hate Christmas. I hate Retail. I hate full time work.

A lady came into the store today and asked about a price reduction. See she had bought this Santa statue the day before but today it had been reduced to almost half price. Y'know being Christmas and all and the need for stock to be sold so naturally things are going to be discounted. But no, this lady acted like it was a personal affront to her that the Santas had been reduced yet she had to pay the higher price. I mean, come on, it's Christmas, of course things are going to be reduced closer to Christmas. That's life, it's what every store does but no, since she didn't get the saving then it was an atrocity to human kind.

Yeah, I don't always agree with customer service. But I will always be polite even if the customer is acting stoopid.

And I was wearing these reindeer ears in the spirit of frelling Christmas but I kept seeing this thing floating above my head and everytime I turned to have a look it would disappear. Needless to say it was the tip of my antlers that I was seeing and it took me five minutes to realise this.

Sigh.
