Why, why is it so cold...
Bah, as much as I like the idea of keeping a regular blog, I always seem to read my friendlist more than actually updating with anything. I'll have to attribute that to the fact that I'm lazy rather than going with the other option of not having anything interesting to say.

Anyway, at school we've been learning about copyright and all that jazz upon which to then read this post on Intellectual Property and the Fan just makes my head hurt all over again. It's rather unfortunate that's it's only in the middle of my design course that we finally get around to learning about this stuff. This is important, damn it! And one of the many reasons why going out and getting a job in graphic design is very, very daunting. Let's not speak of other matters such as insecurities, etc, etc.

And also, upon reading my flist, I found this post on how to win an argument which wll undoubtably come in useful when you've fucked up because you weren't taught copyright law early or properly enough.

And we also have a picture of Nat Tena as Tonks which makes me happy because she looks damn fine and I have always liked Tonks regardless.

And fuck it, I really should not have signed up for four prompts in a ficathon, the first of which is due in two days. Although, it has been forcing me to write so yay.

So ends my monthly update :|

Actually, for some people, deadlines add on pressure which gets them to work harder and produce better work. Not for all people but for some.

And it's not exactly forcing me to write as in getting me to write something since at the moment I am not writing anything. If I didn't want to write and was being forced well then yes, not so good. But I did voluntarily sign up to write. There are many approaches to writing, some of which don't work for everyone.
