Woe.
Hmm, well I haven't really updated this in awhile except for fic, more fic + art, links and then some other random shit which basically describes my life at the moment but never mind. I keep trying to get everything organised and do the things I have been meaning to do but I have been trying to do that for more than the past year so let's just ignore that little resolution. I also keep saying that I will update this journal regularly and comment more but that also... never really happened.

However, I did go back to TAFE this week (I am studying graphic design) and it looks like all my classes are pretty fun. On two days though I have a four hour gap between classes and both the later classes finish at about eight o'clock at night which is going to be a joy when winter comes. This year it seems we will be doing more graphic design-y projects and there is even one assignment where we will be designing a cover for an actual book which the chance of getting paid for it if it gets used and then get royalties from it. Royalties, dammit!

I also have bought Serenity as it finally came out here in Australia with a shiny special edition cover and more extra features than the US version (ha!). I also have a shiny Wacom tablet that's very black and did I mention shiny? It's very nice and who knows, as a result you may actually see some art from me. Art, dammit! And I also have this game called Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic which only cost ten bucks and actually seem all right considering how old it is.

But all that doesn't matter because I really should be doing some form of TAFE work except I really can't be bothered or at least something constructive but I really can't be bothered because it's hot here and the weekend.

Ooh, I know what I wanted to do. I don't know why but I suddenly got there urge to create an icontest community except it would be only to do with various techniques. So any fandom you want but you have to use the technique or focus specified. And then their would be two catergories, beginner and advanced for people just starting out. And maybe there would be a larger graphic challenge as well. Except I really don't know whether people would be interested or notand there is nothing more depressing than having a challenge community where no one participates. Woe. Woe and despair!

Hmm, I really should post some photos from New Zealand as well. See! I have so much I want to do and yet I am doing none of it. NONE AT ALL.

Woe.

I like the way your TAFE works. Your classes seem so interactive and they open so many doors for you to get into the field. Uni is shite. ...or not so shite, but I just thought I would mention it.

About the community, definitely should. Like people participating or not, you won't know till you try and you've never been one for not trying.

We should meet up for coffee/lunch sometime. You, me and Sussle. I get that since TAFE started it'll be harder, but I'm free pretty much for the next two weeks before uni starts so buzz me whenever you're free. I wanna see your photos. :)

That is because tafe is skills based whereas uni is text book based which is why you always go to tafe for the arts.

I think I am more excited about just setting it all up rather than running it :P

I am free Wed and Fri. Sus could be working though.
