Finally, the 1st of December rolls around and I can buy Prisoner of Azkaban on DVD since Australia is far behind the rest of the world.
But yay, have DVD, watched, am sated :)
I love them all! There is not much else to say but that, especially now that I've grown accustomed to all the actors in their roles. Hermione is too pink, a couple of scenes went by too fast but I still loved it.
I also like the camera work and the way they set up the scenes. It seemed more different and unique and I think that's important in fantasy films. And even though the film didn't follow the book precisely Alfonso Cuaron still did a good job. He made the film look interesting and edgy.
Lupin is gorgeous. Just the way he acts is like so Moony. And the hair! The only thing I didn't like was that conversation between him and Harry about his parents. It's like too much emphasis was placed on Remus's relationship with Lily rather than James and Remus would've known James for longer. And I don't remember in the books (though I could be wrong) such a conversation with that much emphasis. And I never noticed before that he walks out with a cane at the end, that's so sad.
Sirius was manic but then he was always supposed to be manic. And I like Gary Oldman as Sirius now so that's okay, plus I've seen pictures of Gary when he was younger proving he's Sirius (weird kinda proof but still). And I wanna see all the tattoos on his chest. Hell, I wanna know why they're there.
Draco's an idiot. Honestly. He's a Malfoy, he should have class, not bad fashion sense. But he's fast becoming one of those evil villians you just have to love for the witty one liners. And the gloating.
And the trio have grown all, puberty's a bitch. But they're all so in character it's brilliant. I like David Radcliffe as Harry now. When I first saw the movie he was okay, the second time I wasn't quite sure but now he is Harry and the other two were brilliant from the beginning. Hermione is so indignant's funny and I won't mention the fact Ron seems to be capable of only two facial expressions: insulted and scared.
The Whomping Willow nearly steals the movie and a whole heap of bluebirds.
In other news my dog is a psycho. Seriously, she is over three years old and still acts like a confused, hyper puppy. I swear she's gotta be on something cause her antics ain't normal.
Have to work a full day tomorrow which sucks but I better get used to it because I'll be going into full time work for a while soon :(
Had a birthday *toots on horn* One year older. Suppose I should go YAY! but nothing special happens at this age and I seriously can't be bothered. Though bought the new U2 album and have been psychotically playing it.
