The Bookcase Meme...
Oh gods, I have created a meme. Please don't send me to hell for it. It was [livejournal.com profile] kabeyk's fault. She dared me!

the BOOKCASE meme

1. Take a picture of your bookcase (with books therein).
2. Post it behind a cut (because cuts are your friends).
3. Get your flist to identify as many books as possible.
4. If you identify at least five, post this meme in your own journal.
5. If you don't identify at least five then I don't really care.
6. Have a nice day!

Bonus points if you can identify any dvds/videos as well.

Well, the Potter ones are obvious, I can see the His Dark Materials trilogy, and a Ben Elton, though god knows which one, and is that Good Omens above it? Lots of Discworld....Ohh, there's one right at the top (left), that I recognise but can't remember what it's called, but there's no difficult ones I can guess, damn it!

It does make it easier that some titles you can actually read :D

Past Mortem is the Ben Elton's and yeah, it's Good Omens.

Hmm, what is that top left one?

I'm not a big fan of Ben Elton (well, his books anyway), though I've read a few. But not that one. I made myself read Dead Famous (I think that's what it's called) during Big Brother one year as an antidote.

Scratch that top left one; although it's still familiar, it isn't the one I thought it was - I went and checked.

Are those the "Little House" books on the top shelf?
[identity profile] mithborien.livejournal.com on June 8th, 2005 06:48 am (UTC)
No... what's 'Little House'?

Most of the ones on the top row are by David Eddings.

They had the pastel-ish colors of the "Little House on the Prairie" series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. It's a series of books about her experiences growing up in the late 1800s in the midwest of America.

By the big purple one, you mean Magician? Though I don't know what you're going on about with mirrors and smoke.

If you want you can borrow them off me considering I bought the entire series. Twenty or so books actually. Good stuff.
