Yes, it's a list, get over it...
:: I ::

Finally watched Gangster No. 1 today and no, I didn't watch it solely because of the fact that David Thewlis was in it except that was the only reason I watched it :D. But I did actually enjoy it. It was interesting and cultish and bloody. Paul Bettany was creepy as fuck but I think that was the point. Malcom McDowell's voice over is hilarious and just as creepy. And oh my god, I loved Freddie Mays, just the way he moved and talked it was brilliant. Just so smooth and in control and oh *melts* He's one of those villians (even though he technically wasn't) that you just have to looove because they act so damn fine. But yeah, as I said the whole film is dark and edgy and well, gangsterish would be the word ;P And if you haven't read it (even though it was written a while ago) go read Gryffindor No.1 an AU HP fic written by [livejournal.com profile] anniesj, [livejournal.com profile] casirafics and [livejournal.com profile] circe_tigana with Remus as Freddie and Sirius as Gangster. It's just as good, if not better than the movie.

So, apparently a book written by the new Pope has nudged HP of the best seller list and when reporting this the Leaky Cauldron had to warn people that disrepectful comments to anyone would be deleted. It may be just me, but I really hate the fact that the Leaky felt the need they had to warn people not to be disrespectful. OOTP has been out for a while and as the new Pope was just recently elected it isn't surprising that people would go out to buy his books, especially in the country that he was born in. It was a perfectly reasonable piece of news to report and there was nothing shocking about it so I don't see the reason why people are debating whether the Pope was a Nazi or not, in a Harry Potter website just because it was his book that is now number one. And yes I know, this is a stupid complaint, it just struck me as weird that the Leaky had to warn people and how OT the comments to the entry have gotten.

I just recieved an invite from a friend to his 18th (a pirate themed party none the less :) but he neglected to sign his name. So I spent five minutes pawing through the phonebook on my phone trying to find out who the hell invited me. I was not amused. Well, actually I am but it felt good to say that.

:: IV ::

After the vaguely intellectual first two points list this has taken a turn for the worse in medocrity. I fear there is no hope for it.

:: V ::

The fic that I was made to write by the giant plot bunny that attacked me a couple of days ago has now reached 5,679 words. It's scares me too.

Yeah, but no doubt there are gormless, rabid fangirls on TLC who actually would go ape-shit over anyone daring to outsell a HP book. Sadly, everyone in the world does not have the sense that some of us do.

And yay for long fics and gargantuan plot-bunnies! What had you been feeding it?

I know, I lost faith in the human race a long time ago although they are gradually redeeming themselves :)

I haven't been feeding the bunny anything. It just appeared and won't let go and now it's scaring me :@

I'll send them after you and you know you already have one on your tail :P

*ker-thump ker-tmunp*

Because you know that's what they sound like.

That is exactly what they sound like! And that rustling-gnashing sound when they're sitting on your head, eating your hair and trying to chew through to your brain. *runs away screaming*

I love point number four.

When can we expect fic?!

Point number four is the essence of the whole post, without it the post would be nothing :)

Er, fic can be expected... when it's done? I dunno. Soon. Soon. It has top priority. Even over school, like all good fandom is.

:D :D :D

I want fic, damnit!
At least it has top priority :)

Here's a little tid bit of the fic:

Remus Lupin’s life has always revolved around cycles.
