SLEEP...
Okay, so getting less than six hours of sleep a night for the past week hasn't exactly been a good thing. Seriously. I can barely see the key board and it's just seven o'clock. Bad.

*rubs eyes*

Ooh, yay, that helps.

So, what is it with guys and wolf whistles. Seriously, when they are sitting in a car and whistle at a girl walking past what exactly do they think it's going to accomplish? Do they think we are going to run after them and jump in the car? Come on, gimme an answer here. A carload of guys wolf whistled at me today, I gave them the finger, they laughed and gave me the finger and I yelled thanks. It was a very stupid experience.

Yes, I know thats the intent but still, it all seems stupid to me.

Here it's always been called wolf whistling. Don't know where the name came from or why it stuck but it has. And yeah, no idea where the wolf comes into it (I wonder why I am thinking of Lupin at the moment :) but how does 'cat' come into cat calls?

Uhhh... I don't know actually. I think it comes from the twenties when men were "cats" in the jazz scene. Or the women are cats because they're hot? Or... because it's somewhat like cats meowing in heat?

The word wolf does and will always remind me or Lupin. ALWAYS. Well, him and that Italian lesson last summer on idiomatic phrases with "lupo." There are TONS. Wolves are important to Italians. Yep.

:)
