So maybe I should give a detailed account of my classes so far instead of a disjointed musing straight out of my head. Those can be dangerous.

On Monday morning I had Computing for Design and it sounds pretty cool. Haven't done anything yet but we have some of the best computers in the lab and the lecturer is funny. He used to be a student there so he is fairly laid back about stuff. But in this class we will be working with page payouts and shit but he said if we don't tell, he will let us start on Photoshop near the end of the year. He also said that due to the fact that he bullshits alot himself, he can spot it a mile off so if we are going to make up any excuses at least put in the effort and make them creative.

That afternoon was Drawing for Design and we got all this free stuff from Jacksons Art Supplies which was good because yay, free stuff! We are also supposed to get this welcome pack from TAFE which has all this stuff like a 128mb flash stick so even more YAY! But yeah, the drawing class was good because we actually did some drawing in it. But the chairs in there are horrible. They are the high, short back ones that are okay if you are drawing at a table with them but terrible if you are just sitting there because you can't slouch.

Then today I had Photo Imaging 1 which technically has nothing to do with Graphic Design but its in there just to introduce us to photography and since I haven't done photography before it sounds interesting. And the good part is the city is right next door to the TAFE building and there are heaps of really cool stuff to take pictures of there.

But all in all, we haven't done much work yet in the lectures and have been getting out an hour early for practically every class so we haven't actually been able to tell what its going to be like when we get into the full swing of things.
