Okay, so here's an actual entry not just some weird crap about straws...
So!

I enrolled at TAFE yesterday for Graphic Design (yay!) and found out that the orientation day is one week after I actually start so, yeah, really bloody helpful there people. I can spend the first week wandering around getting lost. Brilliant!

...

I HATE THAT! I get paranoid if I don't know what's going on. I like to know where everything is and all my options first and only then am I happy and completely free to go wild *grumble* But the place is actually pretty nice and is right next door to the city so that may or may not be a bad move and I have a feeling I may be spending an awful lot of time there. Hmm, must keep track of money before I spend it all.

What else? Well, at work we got a new manager and while she's nice, she runs the store completely by the rules! Seriously. I've worked there for just over two years and have had three managers before her and neither them nor the senoir assistants ever did things the way she did them. And I mean, okay, I get it. She's only running the store by the rules that the company set down but loosen up a bit! It won't kill you and the store will run more smoothly because of it. But the way she's got things now there are going to be hold up with customers because she won't let the staff do things they did before and grr...

Shit, I have to work tomorrow as well.

What else I got? I finished reading Past Mortem by Ben Elton and holy fuck! It was brilliant but rather creepy. It was on the off side of some weird and kinky shit. Yet... I still liked it. *shifty look* Makes sense from the girl whose favourite things to write are torture and death scenes (oh come on! any writer will know what I mean). But the book was good, I'm still uncertain about what exactly I feel about it but it was still good. The plot was interesting and I wasn't able to guess the murderer until the end. And this review is slightly screwed but so was the book. In a good way of course :)

Anything else? Not that I can think of. Need to clean my room, make some icons, write some shit (sadly no torture scene) and dread going to work tomorrow.

*cough* shameless plug *cough*

For anyone who reads this. I recently created [livejournal.com profile] acting_graphics and have only now got off my arse to promote it. Its an open community for the posting of any graphics of actors and actresses and would dearly love some more members :)

Past Mortem is not for those with a metaphorical weak stomach. It is intense.

Are you trying to imply something *suspicious glare*

I can read intense stuff. I juz can't watch it.

Did you buy the book? Could we do an exchange...for TP's Trickster's Queen.

Not trying to imply anything, just warning you.

And oh yeah, definite yes on the book exchange thing.

I haven't. It's in the Need To Return To People pile. It shall find it's way back to you eventually. The stuff you d/l is still on it. I'm a bit over clearing discs...in the sense that I never knew how.

Mish.
