Thor 4: Love & Thunder
Well, that was... bad :(

I'm mostly detached from Marvel these days. I still very much love the characters (and Thor was always a favourite) but I'm not heartbroken by new content disappointing me anymore. I enjoy any awesome moments that may occur and I ignore the rest.

But aside from maybe one, this didn't even have any awesome moments. There just didn't seem to be any point to any of it.

If I hadn't finished my latest vid before watching this I would have been completely disheartened to continue working on it.

It wasn't even worth it to see Chris Hemsworth's butt.

The screaming goats were basically the one thing I enjoyed. And a tiny glimpse of Heimdall.

Yeah, those goats pretty much were the best part of the movie.

I'm still very much in Marvel mode but I really disliked what was done with Thor 3 and it seemed to me that Thor 4 was likely to just head off the rails. I don't plan to see it until it comes to streaming, and it sounds like that's the right choice.

See, I very much enjoyed Thor 3. I'll admit it kinda ignored what came before it but in and of itself I really enjoyed it. Which is why I was looking forward to Thor 4 because it was the same director, same characters, etc, so I figured it would be more of the same.

And it was more of the same, it just was really, really bad as well.

So if you didn't like Thor 3 I would 100% wait until it comes to streaming. There isn't really anything to merit seeing it in theatres.
