My favourite video this year (of my own):
Probably The Devil takes care of his own because it was both really fun to make and relatively hassle free to make. The hardest part about it was making sure people were dancing in time to the music and trying not to laugh at the sheer ridiculousness of the actual movie.

My least favourite video this year:
Lonely Souls because it was for a vid challenge and I had to rush it in order to finish on time so the ending is a bit of a mess and I had to lose a lot of clips that I really liked. I do want to go back and redo it using the final season of Merlin but I have no idea how likely that is.

Most successful video:
I consider any video that I actually manage to finish to be successful :P But in terms of comment count, We're getting a divorce, you keep the diner was the best. But in terms of hit count on AO3 Lonely Souls and A prince from another world are pretty neck and neck, and way ahead of the hit counts for other fandoms.

Video most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
The Devil takes care of his own because of its ridiculousness.

Most fun video:
Ditto above.

Video with single sexiest moment:
The Devil takes care of his own because of Salma Hayek dancing ;P

Biggest vid fail:
Lonely Souls with the aforementioned running out of time.

Hardest video to make:
Lonely Souls again because of the time restraint and Dear Prudence because of the concept and message I was trying to get across. It was a bit more in depth than what I normally vid and I was freaking out that the vid wasn't working as my betas can attest.

Most unintentionally telling video:
I have no idea. What do you guys think is my most telling video?

Did I succeed with any of my vidding plans fro last year's meme?
Lol, nope.

Vidding plans for 2013:
Find a method that will actually get me to accomplish stuff instead of just thinking about it. If I can manage this then I will be able to accomplish anything!

But most of my vid plans for 2013 are the ones I had for 2012. I want to make more vids in a greater variety of fandoms. I want to make all the epic vid ideas I all ready have in my head instead of just thinking up new ones. I want to work more in After Effects and make more creative vids in both concept and execution.

However for more specific plans. There are a bunch of Teen Wolf vids I want to make before S3 starts. There's a Supernatural vid I really want to make. And a Black Widow vid. And a Catwoman vid. And I'll stop now...

I won't do any questions for the other fanworks I made but I would like to say that I was delightfully surprised by the response to my SPN/J2 Big Bang entry. I had a lot of fun making it but to have everyone else like it as well was equally fabulous.

Plans for 2013:

• Make more non-vid fanworks. I do like the Big Bangs because I get to make a whole range of art. This point may or may not be influenced by Tumblr.


• Make more tshirt designs. I have always wanted to design tshirts and I get a little thrill everytime I see someone buy one of my shirts on Red Bubble, not because I get the money but because they like my art enough to actually wear it on their bodies. Possibly in public!


• Get back in traditional art and digital painting. This may not happened with fandom but I want to start drawing again so I will leave this point here regardless.

Your main fandom of the year?
Supernatural still, although I wandered in to Merlin and I am on the brink of making stuff for Teen Wolf.

Your favorite film you watched this year?
The Hunger Games, The Avengers, The Cabin in the Woods and Brave.

Your favorite book read this year?
I seemed to have stopped reading books this year to the extent that I can't remember a favourite O.O Instead I have read a shitload of fanfiction. And I mean a shitload. I don't regret it because I absolutely love fanfic but I do have a lot of unread books that are waiting in my room that I should get to.

Ooh, I remember a book: Let's pretend this never happened by Jenny Lawson a.k.a The Bloggess. Absolutely hilarious!

Your favorite tv show of the year?
Still Supernatural. I think it will remain my favourite till the end. However, other shows that caught my interest this year include Teen Wolf (damn it, Tumblr), Parks and Recreation (how did I not know how awesome this show was?) and Miranda (which is back on!)

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Teen Wolf. For giving me heaps of fanfic to read and inspiring about 6 vid ideas in me at once.

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
Supernatural :( I still love the show but it's slowly losing its spark for me. I am still having vid ideas for it though so there is still hope!

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Ugh, I never remember anything to add here. I was pretty squeeful when I heard Miranda was coming back though!

Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
Actually finding a way to convince myself to sit down and create all the awesome ideas in my head instead of just messing around on the internet. Despite how much fun it is!
