I celebrated in style... by sleeping through it. Well, I wasn't actually asleep because who has good sleeping patterns these days, but I was all ready in bed and as far as I was concerned that meant the day was over.

End of the year

I'm not going to do any end of year round-ups or talk about any resolutions, mainly because I didn't really do a whole lot this year (one could blame it on the pandemic but to be honest, I've just been really tired for other reasons) and I don't think I have ever kept any of the resolutions that I have made.

In terms of fandoms I am still (reluctantly) into Marvel, specifically the Captain America side of things. Endgame still hurts my soul but it is what it is. I also very much enjoyed The Old Guard and The Witcher, at least in terms of fic reading.

I only made three vids this year: Big God (Annihilation), Baby Outlaw (Charlize Theron movies) and When We're High (Steve/Thor).

I think Baby Outlaw is my favourite but the other two are still a close second.

Actually, I do one resolution this year, which is not to sign up for any more Charity Auctions until I finish what I currently owe. Don't worry, winners, your unfinished vids haunt me every day.

New Comms

The snowflake_challenge will be starting again soon. I don't think I have participated before but I am going to try this year. The comm was originally created by akamine_chan as a way to remind herself “why I loved fandom so much”. And you know, fandom has always been fun but I am trying to lurk a bit less these days.

There is also starterpack, whose goal is to: The goal of this place is to guide new Dreamwidth users, or people new to journaling in general, so the process of trying a new platform doesn't become too overwhelming. And sure, I may have created this journal in 2009, but I figure it would be cool to follow along and clean things up a bit around here.
