Notes: Written for jamie2109's AWDT prompt since apparently I am not only determined to avoid doing my TAFE work at home but also at TAFE itself.

Also, this little drabble was in part inspired by a piece of fan art that I had seen of the trio where while they were waiting out the night somewhere two of them would sleep while the other kept watch and it was beautiful. Except now, of course, I can't seem to find it so if anyone knows the piece of art in question a link would be greatly appreciated :D

And I stopped watching that ages ago. Just thought you might want to know.

Also, I just finished lodging my tax return for this year and one thing I don't understand is how you can claim donations as tax dedeuctions or whatever. Well actually, I do understand how, I just don't understand why.

Isn't the whole point of a donation is that you give the money for nothing? That you gave the money with the express purpose of not getting anything back? That's why it's called a donation.

Surely, a better use of the money that the government is giving back to the people who claim donations as deductions would be to give that money to the charities as well and that way they can help even more people. It makes a hell of a lot more sense and benefits more people since theoretically those people who gave donations shouldn't expect any money back, seeing as it is a DONATION and all.
