Dear Spacer,
Apologies for this letter being late, Spacer. I am also afraid this may not be a whole lot of help if you are stuck for ideas. I generally just rambled on about why I like each of the fandoms but know that I definitely love each of them enough to be delighted to receive anything in any of them. So create something you love as well!

Stargate SG-1

I never really got in to Stargate Atlantis or Stargate Universe because SG-1 was always the Stargate of my heart. I even saw Richard Dean Anderson at a convention last year and he was delightful.

While I also like the later seasons, I really enjoy the earlier ones with the original team of O'Neill, Carter, Daniel Jackson and Teal'c so something focusing on them and their sense of camaraderie would be great.

I also admit to shipping O'Neill and Carter and while frustrating at times I do like they never got together while they were still serving.

Farscape ♥♥♥

Farscape is my favourite show of all time. I may not have watched it in years but it doesn't matter what new shows come around, I am confident in saying it will always be my favourite show. There's just something about the combination of the fantastic characters, the visually wonderful sets, the stories that could go from sheer hilarious crack to tear inducing heartbreak, the amazing actors, the wonderful costumes and everything else awesome about the show that just makes it the most amazing thing in my eyes.

It was the show that got me in to fandom and vidding because just watching it wasn't enough.

I loved John Crichton as a character and it was painful to watch how his story progressed.

I loved John and Aeryn's relationship and I waited each week just for the smallest hint of them getting together.

This show was the best and I was devastated when it was cancelled. I am almost afraid to rewatch it out of fear it won't live up to the glory in my head. But I have every confidence that if I did rewatch it, it would be even better!

Also, it has muppets! And so many Australian guest stars, heh!

Firefly

I completely missed Firefly when it was on TV. I then went and watched the movie before watching the TV series and then mourned the show that could have been.

Confession: I never watched Buffy, Angel or Dollhouse so I am not really a Joss Whedon fan in that sense.

But Firefly was amazing. The dialogue was amazing. The characters were amazing. And the short amount of plot we got was amazing.

Gravity

Like a lot of people I thought Gravity was awesome. I saw it in 3D, which was definitely worthwhile. I also found it genuinely suspenseful and I think I actually jumped a couple of times.

I also like the fact that pretty much every review by a real life astronaut has said the movie got it right in regards to how it feels to be in space. (Deliberate inaccuracies not withstanding.)

I really love that shot at the end as well, when Ryan is struggling out of the water after she landed.

To be honest, I didn't really connect with Ryan Stone as a character but I was definitely invested in watching her survive.
